About InsureDefense

InsureDefense is a consumer document-preparation service. We help Americans whose health-insurance claims have been denied to prepare a stronger, clearer, and more professionally-structured appeal package than they could reasonably assemble alone.

What we are — and aren’t

We are not a law firm. We are not an insurance company. We are not a medical provider. We do not provide legal, medical, or insurance advice. We do not guarantee any outcome on an appeal.

What we do is read your denial document, categorize it against a taxonomy of common denial reasons, identify what evidence appeals in that category typically need, and — if you choose to engage us — prepare a written appeal that combines your specific facts with plan-language references, state-specific appeal rights, and a clear request for relief.

Editorial standards

Every guide on this site is reviewed by our editorial team for factual accuracy and currency. We cite Kaiser Family Foundation (KFF), the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), HealthCare.gov, and state insurance department resources as the primary sources for statistics, deadlines, and appeal-rights information. We do not cite our own win-rate until we have published, audited outcome data from at least 100 closed cases.

How we make money

We charge a one-time flat fee for each appeal package we prepare. We do not sell ads, we do not sell your data, we do not share your denial documents with any third party, and we do not take a percentage of any reimbursement you may receive from a successful appeal.

Privacy posture

Health information you upload is encrypted at rest with KMS-managed keys. We do not run marketing pixels or session replay tools on any page that handles your medical documents. We are subject to the FTC Health Breach Notification Rule and have a documented incident response plan.
